Congratulations Team 10 who got off to a great start with 20 out of 28 possible games. Many thanks to Anne Fairlie who once again organized our starting pizza night in addition to recording the weekly scores. Look for Peter Maughan who will be your courtside Captain next week.

We now have 4 teams with over 70 points chasing Team 4 with 85 points. We still have 3 more weeks including the rain out. Please register for the Summer House League asap if you plan on playing. We will also need summer spares for those that cannot commit.

Many thanks to Judy Thomas who was your on court Captain. Please remember to report your scores to the oncourt Captain. Poor Judy had to chase a few scores down after everyone left.

Team 4 remains only 6 points ahead of Team 10 who made up 4 points tonight. Team 1 is still in the race with 2 evenings of play left. We have 5 teams that have reached or exceeded 85 points. All could make a push for the win.

Please be reminded that there will be pizza on June 19th (raindate) and not next week. Please check your schedules as the May 15th game will be played June 19th.

What a final !!!!

We ended in a tie with Team 10 (Greg Ripton, Sue Pridham, Anne Fairlie, Michael Chung, Alan Maguire and captain Judy Thomas) and Team 4 (Bill Hine, John Ryder, Joe Bales, Sheila Burke, Ian Thompson and Richard Payne), both with 137 points. This is a first for House League during my involvement. This is really amazing given that there are 28 points available per night over eight weeks.

Special mention goes to Team 1, Captained by Chris Appleton, only 4 points out of the prizes.
