BBQ UPDATE

There are a lot of activities planned this for this Saturday April the 19th at Wanless Park Community Tennis Club.

Saturday Morning Fun Program

Starting at 9am there will be lots of fun happening on the tennis courts as the Saturday morning Fun Program starts for this season. For the next 8 weeks there will be supervised play, lesson reviews, games, ball machine drills, video analysis and more for all levels of participants in the Wanless Junior Program.

Tykes and Tiny Tykes are first at 9am, followed by Novice and Intermediate at 10am, and Advanced and Tournament level players from 11am to noon.

The Grand Opening BBQ

Immediately following the junior fun on the courts will be the annual opening BBQ, hosted by your Executive. Come one, come all. Renew old acquaintances and meet some new friends over burgers and hot dogs at the clubhouse starting at noon.

Tennis Activities

After the BBQ there will be tons of fun tennis activities. Starting at 1pm there will be an adult Round Robin doubles event in conjunction with a Cardio Tennis demo for anyone interested in investigating what this exciting new program has to offer. In addition to prepare for the coming season there will someone there to re-string and re-grip your racquets at a very competitive rate.

Merchant of Tennis Tennis Carnival

The Merchant of Tennis will be on hand to give you a chance to try out some of the new models of racquets available this year. The racquet demo will run from 12:45 to 2:15pm. There will also be a tennis carnival where members can participate in games/contests to win prizes as well as a draw to win an adult racquet, or a free stringing card (purchase a racquet from the Merchant of Tennis and get free stringing). Adults and advanced/tournament level juniors may demo the racquets and participate in the round robin.

So please plan to be at Wanless Tennis this Saturday for all this and more!!!
